    Yakubu

I predict this day that Yakubu will make 22 million move in the summer to a superclub

A player that needs no time to settle and scores 20 goals in his first season is invaluable.... sorry Boro but hes going to go

to be honest he has already said he wants to be the best striker in the world... he is young and has bags of talent, he scares the shit out of defenders and is awesome as a lone striker, but pretty effective in a front 2 as well. i think 5 years down the line he could easily be one of the worlds finest, he is not far off now as his record shows.

he looks hungry and plays like he enjoys himself... if he continues there is nothing to stop him going all the way. i would hate to see him go and hope he has a good few more seasons at boro, but if he was to go it would be for big money.

I was very suprised Chelsea didn't make a move for him. Instead they paid 5 times over the odds for a retard from the Ivory Coast who couldnt hit a cows arse with a banjo.

Boro wont sell Yakubu. Simple as that.

He was good on Sat but no way is he in the calibre of the worlds best.

Some of his control was pretty clumsy.

Considering hes only 23 he is quality. Carvalho was tortured by him on Sat and Terry didnt do much better. Everyone thought we had paid too much for him in the summer (7.5M) but hes worth a lot more than that and any club will have to put a big bid in. If we can keep him happy we should be able to fend off a bid in the summer, but in a couple of years we might be tempted

Fact in the last three seasons only one man has outscored yakubu and that was Henry ! that means hes beaten the likes of van nistleroy , defoe , drogba , all of em so id say given his strike rate he should already be looked upon as one of the best around !

Just think, we had him virtually bought, ta least in the papers, and then we spend £10M on Luque. Typical Newcastle:lol: Owen and Yakubu up front. At least 40 goals a season if both fit

hes not the most skillful but like i said needing NO TIME to settle is invaluble.

Hes strong as a ox and is a goal scorer.... I wouldnt bet against Man UTD or an Italian team swooping

Hes one of the best strikers iv seen in a long while
