the jack part is not the problem, it's the XLR to fit these speakers...

    this one :)

also make sure they are going in to a balanced jack socket - the balanced cables are like stereo cables with the 2 notches, unlike unbalanced which has the one notch like mono

the xlr plug on the back of the speaker looks like its a multifit jobbie with room for a jack plug in the middle? like some mixers have for mic inputs

    no worries mate :)

in future just look at the middle, does it have pins, or does it have holes for pins, thats all that matters :)

was thinking of getting some of these , what is the crack do they give much better sound quality/less interference and is there any that will hook straight up to a mixer?

you wont notice a massive change in sound quality, if any at all, so if you're happy with what you have, just leave it that way

they do offer a better signal as its like sending two feeds to each place instead of one, they're handy for long runs, but if its just in your bedroom, you wont notice any difference

if you're having problems with interference you should look in to keeping your audio cables away from any power cables

what gear are you hooking up?

If it helps, you could just use a 1/4 inch jack on both ends. Although its an XLR, you can put the jack right in the middle and itll work fine, you can see that is one of the fittings that accepts it

just the same speakers as above warfedale diamond 8.1 , but its strange as i can hear a slight buzz from one of the speakers but not the other and they are pretty much next to each other. even if i walk around with the one with the buzz i cant seem to find a place where it stops?
