Wu tang clan appreciation thread The 'whats ya fave cd' thread made me dig out these bad boys- Return to the 36 chambers:the dirty version-Ol dirty bastard(RIP) Class but mental from 1995. and Gza-liquid swords Canny but not one of the best The Wu tang clan were the last hip hop group i was into before i went off hip hop in a big way. The Wu were the boys 93-97 IMO. Loved some of the solo albums but not really listened to the most recent stuff. Who likes/liked the WU?
Just found- Method man/Redman-Blackout (1999) Method man-Tical 2000:Judgement day(1998 ) Did'nt know i still had them, ill stick em on but im sure i remember them not been that good.
not heard much of there stuff but what i have heard is cool...even the commercial stuff Gravel Pit :worship:
Re: Wu tang clan appreciation thread i have the 36 chambers album, the w album nd av got another couple aswell u god's album aswell, thought him gza and masta killa were the best like used to worship wu tang when i was younger like, total respect to them :chill:
ive got- 36chambers Gza-Liquid swords Raekwon-Only built for cuban links The W Wu-Chronicles Rza as Bobby digital Might chuck a few on see how they sound now
36 Chambers is a classic Album! Really like some of the Solo Stuff! RZA is an excellent producer! Just been getting into the likes of KRS-One, Marley Marl, Big Daddy Kane etc. Love the Wu Tang tho!
Meth = The Man cant believe i missed this thread None of the solo albums come close to 36 Chambers imo, most of them have a few good bits but its almost impossible to make a solo hiphop album where all the songs are good. ps Bobby Digital is the worst one by far! also check out 6 Feet Deep by Gravediggaz if you havent, a spin off group featuring RZA, Prince Paul (De La Soul) and others
Used to love this when i was at school with my Dickies baggies and shit still love there style of sound to this day
that obd album with the food coupon cover was class ive still got it somewhere 'rhymes are stinking like a girls poo poo'
