    Wu tang clan appreciation thread

    The 'whats ya fave cd' thread made me dig out these bad boys-

    Return to the 36 chambers:the dirty version-Ol dirty bastard(RIP)

    Class but mental from 1995.
    and
    Gza-liquid swords

    Canny but not one of the best

    The Wu tang clan were the last hip hop group i was into before i went off hip hop in a big way. The Wu were the boys 93-97 IMO.
    Loved some of the solo albums but not really listened to the most recent stuff.

    Who likes/liked the WU?

    36 Chambers is a classic Album!

    Really like some of the Solo Stuff! RZA is an excellent producer!

    Just been getting into the likes of KRS-One, Marley Marl, Big Daddy Kane etc.

    Love the Wu Tang tho!

    Meth = The Man

    cant believe i missed this thread

    None of the solo albums come close to 36 Chambers imo, most of them have a few good bits but its almost impossible to make a solo hiphop album where all the songs are good.

    ps Bobby Digital is the worst one by far!

    also check out 6 Feet Deep by Gravediggaz if you havent, a spin off group featuring RZA, Prince Paul (De La Soul) and others
