Seems to be an increase of dodgy spam messages on Facebook lately.

If you get a message from a mate with some massive random link in and saying stuff like "i found a video of you on youtube" - don't click it, just delete it.

i do anyway...fucking annoys me that does

i hate facebook spammers me like, there is an option now tho to "ignore all invites from this friend" so you can just fuck the regular offenders off.

This is different to spam though it's actually sending you to a site with a virus on it

I GOT WORMS IN MY BELLY SO I BENT OVER A CAKE FOR AN HOUR AND WHEN THE WORM CAME OUT I TOLD THAT FUCKER THAT HE CANT DANCE LIKE ME.

I bloody clicked on the message, and now its forwarding the message to all my friends, how can I get rid of it??

its amusing that everyone who migrated from myspace due to this problem is now getting it from bacefook.

It's a variant of the same worm I think.

It relies on peoples infinite stupidy to spread

I think it's actually downloading code, so you need to run a virus scan and spyware scan.

It's quite clever really, but as as hell. I don't know how it works yet and not too sure of actual damage, seems to just be more of a pest. Changing your password has no effect. It should be patched by now to be fair.
