Am in a funny mood lookin at rollercoasters always fancied this.... untill a seen this guys vid lol. Any1 got any belter rollercoaster vids?, hunt sum down on youtube even. Worst for me had to be Air @ Alton Towers when it broke down in mid air & announced my safety harness was about to be released, never again.

Rita at Alton Towers is top.. queueing for the front seat takes a bit longer but its well worth it..!

Aw i ana, a remember that like, a just went on the back, which was worse coz a was bein flung all over lol, when it first shot off, a really felt myself start to go to slightly unconscious was gr8 tho, 4.1Gs think it was 0 to 90Mph in like 3 seccons

I went front row on this when I was on holiday I've never been so scared in my life, the video doesn't do the height justice, I tried closing my eyes until it got to the top and it felt like a good 2 minutes before opening them and we were only half way up!

We did a few of the parks in California back in 2006 and the 'Xcelerator' @ Knotts Berry Farm is one of the best I've been on.

0-82mph in 2 seconds!

complete pussy when it comes to rides, I hate the fuckers, couldnt pay meenough to get on any of the ones mentioned in this thread!

Last October we got to that top of The Strotosphere on a slightly windy night and you could feel the thing slightly rocking. We were even booked to have a meal there that night too. When we got to the top the first thing my lass said was we're on that next lift down like.

Never went back up.

I've seen a couple of videos from the x-scream ride, the one that shoots you out over the side, the cameras on the front of the car and it looks immense just watching the video, being on the thing itself must be mad.

Before you get on rides like that you're bricking it.

When you're on it and once it's finished you're glad you did it. The adrenaline is unreal.

I would be devastated if I came back from America and didn't do the rides out there. They're insane.

Loosley on the subject - I went to Flamingo Land with my kids on Saturday - it was like a Yorkshire Chav reunion!

Regarding rollercoasters, I love to go on them, but there is a kids version at Flamingo Land, really small, and it scared me shitless on Sat!! Thought we were gonna fly out! I'll dig out the fooking useless map they give you and see if I can find its name!

Oblivion at lightwater valley if you lift your feet and release the bar whilst its saying 'dont loook dow......n' you really do get 100m of freefall before your ass grips the seat. Shame its over in two seconds tho.
