Broken metatarsal, out for 6 weeks apparently. Not good at all. Will be worth taking him as hopefully he will be fit enough to start playing in the last group match or the second round game
beckhams recovery for the last world cup is the quickest on record for a metatarsal break to heal . rooneys will take longer . he wont be fit until the quater finals and i cant see sven risking him going ... ?The world cup is not over !!! we still have a chance , without Rooney we are still a class team and on our day capable of beating anyone ...
