    world cup 2006

Right once we get through our group which we will no problem how does everyone see us doing at the next world cup in germany?

I think we can get to the semi finals and barring not meeting brazil I think we may even do better than that. If rooney and gerrard play like they can we have got a real chance.

Dont want to say this but think germany would be a good bet. Granted they had an easy route to the fianl last time but they still got there. Plus its in their own country and they can be lucky feckers

why does everyone think we are going to do well?

can u remember 3 friendlys ago when the lowly spain played us off the park?

we could do well but could go out early, i always think england has very bad luck with injurys etc at world cups

In the last two matches England did not look like a team that could win the world cup, the score flattered you against us and you made a meal of beating azerbjan, hardly the world's most outstanding football teams?

We have the potential to do very well, but it depends how we perform on the day, if we play well i can see us getting to the semi finals at best

England always seems to put in a better effort in the big games though, its impossible to call

    Brazil for me though

bollocks!, the score flattered you, should have been 3 up in the first half, and we missed at least 2 sitters in the second half.

They tried playing them lads altogether & it hasnt worked so Kaka sits on the bench, while Owen Hargreaves is on the England bench.

Has Hargreaves ever had a great game...as I can only remember once when he played OK.

The lightweight seems to run around a lot, couple of tackles here and there then take the odd knock:down:

    Jambon Here :

once again i will defend hargreeves! he could wallk into any midfield in the prem.

he's a more than competant stand in for anyone in the england midfield.

    - England 49,855,700
(83.7 per cent of the total UK population)
    FIFA RANKING 8TH

    - Scotland 5,057,400
    (8.5 per cent)
    FIFA RANKING 88TH

    - Wales 2,938,000
    (4.9 per cent)
    FIFA RANKING 71ST

    - Northern Ireland 1,702,600
    (2.9 per cent)
    FIFA RANKING 111TH

Being 30 times larger in population size than us you'd hope you'd be far better wouldn't you?

While our ranking is only 13 time higher than yours so for our poplation size to fifa ranking we are twice as good as you

    :D

i personally support italy and always have, but i think england have a really good chance of doing well, they seem to be looking better now than they have in a long time, they seem to be getting the balance right in the team now
