    Work grievances etc.....

    Right, I'm really pissed off.

As some know i've been off work for the best part of this year and I'm now on unpaid sick leave due to using up the 3 months of sick pay entitlement. Been off, unpaid, for the last 2 months straight and, for the last 5 months, have been advised by my manager that come November my sick pay would be reset as the 3rd nov is the anniversary of when i joined the company. He had told me in July that if i was able to get a full calendar month at work before november then i would have my sick pay reset. I struggled thru August and, thanks to some holidays, was able to do a full month.

However, i have just been told by payroll that this is not the case and that I would need to do the month AFTER november!! This has seriously pissed me off!!! Theres no way i can put a full month in at the minute, be surprised if i made it a week!

Does anyone know if there is anything I can do with regards to grievances etc as I've been told this since July? Basically if not i'm serious screwed!

that makes loads of sense :wanker:

spoke to acas and they said that a grievance is the best bet as i've been told for months, and on more than one occasion, what was gonna happen.
