    word templates help

    Hi can anyone help??

I need to send up a word template, with a jpeg graphic in the header & the footer. The jpegs both have text in them. When i insert the images, they become heavily distorted so the text is unreadable. I have the jpegs at 300dpi so this should not really be a problem, and they are quite large in size. Also, they appear with a white background around the image when placed in the word doc.

Does anyone know how to drop these in without all this happening?? Any help would be much appreciated... ta x

save your pictures as .png files rather than jpeg. That will stop the white border appearing.

I would also check the formatting after you've inserted the images. Right click properties> layout.

Make sure its set to 'in front/behind text' rather than inline with...

That always messes the layout up.
