    Woodward to Southampton

Do you believe the succesful world cup winning rugby coach can make a name for himself in the world of football managers?

Rumours that he is keen to get involved ....

The thing uve gotta understand is Woodward wasnt a coach per se. He was more team manager who oversaw things. Andy Robinson was the main coach and then he had other coaches such as Phil Larder. So he didnt actually do that much "hands on" work. Woodward was more a tactician and PR man. So in this way he would be likely to succeed in football but he would have 2 get the set up right and appoint head coach. In a way the England footy set up is similar to the rugby set up except Eriksson is crap at PR
