    Wireless

I've asked this recently and was informed to go with a wireless router

I have a desktop PC (without wreless card) and a laptop (which is already wireless enabled) I want to connect them both to the internet using a wireless router. I know i will need a card for the desktop.
I'm just not up on all this technology.
I have plenty of ADSL USB Modems that came with my ISP.

Will this router do the job or will i need to buy one with a built in modem.

    Any advice would be appreciated

Pop a 40 and check your rollies - its Blyth Tyme!
That will work, you dont need a wireless card though, you can get USB pens which do the same job and are a hell of a lot easier to install than a card :)

You should get a wireless G router rather than a wireless B router if you ever want to copy files from your pc to your laptop.

    You can tell by...

    802.11b - B

    802.11g - G

B works at up to 11MB per sec, G is up to 45MB per sec I think.

Neither actually will hit that speed however but G is a lot faster still.

    That one will be fine.
Get a wireless network card made by Linksys if your getting that one for best results.
