    windows start button

anyone know if you can change the colour of the windows start button without downloading the xp style program.

It just interferring with the feng shui of my desktop, so want it changing, but the xp style thing is an added resource hog, which is don't want.

There's no easy way to do it, but you can make it silver and stuff in desktop properties.

Right click on desktop - properties - appearance - colour scheme - silver.
