    Windows Media Player / iTunes

I've got lots of music stored on windows media player and wish to move it over to iTunes.

I've managed to move/convert most of the music but there is still some left which i can't seem to shift. i've discovered that the problem is, the remaining music left in WMP is proctected.

is there a way to undo this so i can mve it to across to iTunes? Or is there another way of doing it without having 'unprotect' the files?

As far as i'm aware, the only way around the problem is to create an audio cd of the protected files, and then use itunes to convert the cd audio to a format compatible with your ipod.
