    Windows Media Player 10

    got the upgrade for media player 9, only use it cos its already on pc's wen u buy it n i dont bother downloading owt better. it was fine for ages after gettin the patch but now it crackles on every song when i do anything else, like post on here or check emails, even playing solitaire :mad: :confused: :mad: :confused:
    any ideas why this is fucking about? speakers are fine cos i can listen to song samples on any site etc...

    Go to Start - Run, then type in dxdiag. Will bring your full PC spec up :)

    another question about wmp10.. where is the radio option? i can only find what they call a better service but you have to pay to listen to the stations.. I was quite happy with the free radio stations in wmp9.

    when u open wmp, click guide and that is the old radio section, think its the free stations

    looked for new drivers on google, came up with packard bell support site and the newest download was from nov 2001, got the pc after that so would have that onboard already.

    You might not have them.. sometimes things come loaded up with the original drivers. Try and find out what version you are running.. or just download the drivers and install them anyway if its not going to take long.

    Go to Control Panel-->System, click Hardware tab, then click Device Manager, expand Sound, Video and Game controllers, right-click on your soundcard and select Update Driver, then select to update from Windows Update, and so on. That should get you the newest driver. :up:
