windows install right i installed some software which i proceeded to uninstall when it stopped working. When trying to reinstall it it doesnt bring up the windows install wizard????? The programme is nowhere to be found (as far as i can see) so: A. how can i search my harddrive properly to double check B. Can i manually prompt the install wizard? Could i maybe have switched it off? cheers
do you mean you've double clicked the .exe for the installation but nothing pops up? I had that problem about a week ago and it was either a restart or taking the cd's out of my cd drive (or a combination of both) that sorted it.
Sometimes auto install won't work for me either. It just sits there, looking like its doing something, but does nothing.
