win 98 boot problem

    win 98 boot problem

    got a win 98 PC that is just crashing on start up, just before it gets to the log on box. Get a error message saying magsvr32.exe has performed an illegal operation, i close that.. and the PC will not boot any further

    any ideas anyone?
