All the LG gear I've bought's been good stuff. I've got a monitor, a CD-writer and I got a DVD rewriter too. Not sure what their tellys are like but if it's anything like this monitor its a winner

i've got the biggest CRT tv LG do - a mate g/f used to work for LG in washington and could get 'staff purchases'

    it's quality gear - and £999 for a 42" is crackin!!!

if your going to pay cash have a look at tiny.com
i bought a 42"plasma from them in november last year
is a brilliant tv i am more than chuffed with it
it cost me £1399 at the time but i got loads of extras
they are now doing a promotion for £999 you get abot £2400 worth of gear
    well worth a look
i had a look at all the other tvs and liked the finish on this one the best, brushed alluminium
apparently all the plasmas use samsung screens and are badged by the other manufacturers
cant hurt for you to have a look

get the warranty out if u can afford it, nowt worse than things breaking after 12 month and having to pay half the price again to get it fixed!

thats a top deal aswell, oh if i had the money!

The 12 Month Standard Warranty has the repair or replace policy. Why did you pay £20 a month extra?

5 years cover, i had one issue when i thought there was a problem but when i called them it turned out that the tv is hdtv and sky dont do that yet so on some programs i was getting a line across the screen but not all the time, effectively down to the poor transmission quality of sky tv. i have heard sky will be transmitting hdtv next year
