Who prefers other genres of music to dance?

Just wondered if everyone on this board likes dance music (whatever style) more than any other genre of music? Personally, as much as I love trance and the likes, my favourite style of music is hip hop. Anyone else feel the same or are you all little trance monkeys!?:D:monkey: :p

Same here, I can usually listen to anything but almost every manufactured band (except the Monkeys and 5ive) suck big style!!!

Don't like american gangsta rap cos I don't think it is really music. Not a real fan of hip hop or dum and bass either!

When I first started writing this I thought I liked all music but I have just realised that I am actually quite selective!!! :D

gots tons of non-dance in my CD collection, Led Zepellin, Guns n Roses, Lou Reed, Velvet Underground, some older REM stuff, some Indie stuff, some Beatles, The Doors, some old Punk shit :), but me all time top band has to be Pink Floyd - anyone who's never listened to Floyd is missing out :D

have to say theres a fair few little rockers at heart aswell...... most me life has been made up of indie to heavier stuff. e.g nirvana, even korn (no mockin please!) but over recent ages ive come to trance scene and that, like me hard house...... so a bag of mixed fruit i think! so i appreciate anythin thats not too main stream and has quality and effort put into it! but i really didlike garage, and chart pop shit.
