I still haven't found game that impressed me more than Half Life!! Can't wait for 2 to come out, let's hope it takes over my life like the original
Love it. I prefer the online mods to half life itself though. Counter Strike and TFC being my favourites

I loved this game... Played it through a few times.. and all the expansions. Was hooked on CS for a year.. managed to drag myself away from it and now they release source Can't get anythin done now..
half life 2 WAS delayed partially due to the leaked beta, as a result valve decided to make changes to it. the current bout of delays are down to a dispute between valve and publishers vivendi universal about distribution and valve's proprietry 'steam' network. if things arent resolved to an agreeable level, vivendi could block the release of HL for up to 6 months. *gulp*... :spangled: whatever happens... i've got it preordered.... there's some games you just have to have on a side note i recommend rome : total war wholeheartedly... best strategy ever it was that good, having downloaded it i decided to buy it as well... if the game is that good than the people who made it deserve something for their efforts
Well that's Doom 3 innit! The theft caused huge delays, as Spud has mentioned, due to large alterations being made to the game.
I thought the whole deal with the delay to hl2 was due to the fact that majority of the source code was also stolen.. surely they didn't re-write the whole of the source!! In many ways the doom 3 beta helped ID to build a better game.. Mainly due to the fact that majority of the ppl who d/l it voiced their opinions about it on boards and things were probably taken on baord that otherwise might not have been in the development schedule.. Anyways roll on hl2!
i havent had it on my pc for a year now but it got rid of my boredom on the net for about a year and a half. counterstrike was fucking class - i had a half year break from it once, and came back better than ever before being accused of cheating on my first game. nailing nerds was the dogs
u should buy condition zero and get the source beta.. its fuckin awesome.. Counterstrike on the hl2 source engine!!! :worship: :nerd:
