Who DJs in the style of music u like most??

Morning all, thought Id squeeze one more post in before i head off to the Alps, but if you could name one (big, and I dont mean Carl Cox size!!) DJ that you appreciated the most, or would never miss, or played exactly the style of music you love, who would it be?? IE, which DJ sums you up most?:p

Coz mine would have to be Matt Hardwick, coz I love uplifting, but driving trance!!:D

For me its got to be Guy Ornadel

he plays right through the Trance genre, playing deep/progressive to the uplifting stuff, just what i like

Gotta be Sasha. For me the guy is just head and shoulders above every other DJ. The tunes he plays just sound so good so many levels to his music. He knows how to build a set and read the crowd and his mixing is just mind blowing. When he played at promise I reckon I only noticed about four mixes.

oh my god! darren emerson all the way! in my opinion he wins hands down. playing good quality prog/tech with out boring the pants off ya, like danny howels etc. its fun and bouncy without being that gatecrashery break down gurn ya tits off to fuck shit!!

having said that, my opinion might not count for much coz i aint never seen the geeza! unfortunatly i missed him in october but i've got two of his global underground cds (singapore and uruguay) and they are me faves! is anyone else a hooj fan of dazza?

i heard that when he was @ shindig in october he played blue monday by new order, its a good job i wasn't there or else i think i would have cum in my pants if he dropped that MONSTER tune!!

    i'm sad, i know!:D :D

I would probably say that at the minute it would be Lee Burridge (or Craig Richards). You never know what he's going to play next and they both cover so much with their music it could go in any direction from progressive to trance to funky house to breaks.

I agree with the choice of Sasha too, he's top quailty.

I've seen Darren Emerson 4 times now I think, he's top quality. Something a bit different. Both his GU albums are mint aswell. I was there the last two times he's been at Shindig and he rocked the place. The last time was the day after Shindig won the best underground club award and the atmosphere was amazing.

well, can i just say that i think everyone has a range of dj's they like for each style or genre they want to listen to.

It all depends on your mood really i think, and the club.
I mean we all like pretty much the same dj's, even if they play something different - because lets face it we all enjoy something other than our beloved proggy and hard trance.
I can enjoy a good session listening to some funky house if im in the right mood... i can list a whole bunch of dj's i can enjoy listening to, but its like some dj will come on the radio and play progressive tunes or funky tunes say in the car. Now you either turn it off cos you cant be arsed to listen to it or you will leave it on because its easier to listen to in a car rather than in a club. It works both ways. There is a time and a place for a certain style of dance music. It all depends on how your feeling!!!

.........and on that note, im feeling a bit stressed with work so im gonna listen to my chill out cd when i get in tonite.
