Whjat year do you think trance was or is at its best? ok what year does everyone think trance was or is at its best? I think it was 1997/1998
i first heard trance in 96 when i first went to cream and saw oakey it as amazing but it gradually got better and better and the club became more trance orientated and peaked in 1999, the second year of oakey in the courtyard, crasher at its peak, lotherton hall, creamfields was amazing. and i know i've just mentioned clubbing not the music but they went hand in hand imo, there was just so much amazing stuff brought out in 99, loads of shite aswell but so much quality stuff.

98 to 99 tho 99 jus shades it Musically this year is excelent but will never match the clubs and events of 99
system f cry was 2000 wasnt it...??!! def not 99 unless it was the back end of it... would say best year for trance was 98-99, the just dont make it like they used to...!! granted theres sum excellent stuff round at the mo but ya'v gotta hunt it out whereas between 98 to about 2000-01 good quality trance productions were flying out, i just listen to all ma old crasher, trance nation and clubbers guide compilation n it just gives me shivers, clubbing and musics good now but good god it isnt a patch on how it used to be... xxxx
Depends really, theres loads and loads of good trance been out all through the years and theres still loads out now. 99-00 as a whole was probs the best personally!
trance has always been good but their was a lot of big ones 2000/2001 a lot of trance hit the chart in the summer that time of year
what!!! 2001 was possibly the worst year, i may be wrong but i cant remember any tunes in the chart although there were loads in 98/99, 7 days, 1999, 9pm, for an angel etc
