    Whiplass claim settlements

    Anyone had or know of anyone who has had a whiplash claim in recently? whats the going rate. ooooh it hurts even typing this Doctor

    i think its about 2-4k dependin on what you settle for.....

    but you need to get yourself to the hospital within 24hours of the accident and get a report etc.....

    I got £3k about 3 and half year ago, I was only a passenger too.

    Get to the doctors asap though

    settlements have been much reduced in the last couple of years i think about 1.5k is about the norm now iv been told...

    My dad got £1500 odd recently but the claim was put through last year.

    My sister got a cheque for £2500 within the last fortnight and she was fine. Had a bit of pain and was off work for a couple of weeks but that never stopped her going out with her friends.

    I want someone to give me a bit off whiplash it's not fair.

    My sister was told she'd only get around 1700, but when the confirmation came through, she had £2300. She got a cheque yesterday for a further £250 for loss of earnings.
