    Which Router?

The time has come to abandon the trusty Xover cable that I have been using for so long.

Recently, I am assuming it is due to new windows security updates etc., I have been unable to get on the net with my laptop without disabling my PC's firewall. Got several Virus's on my PC doing that so I am not risking it any more.

My price range is gona be the £60 mark.

I have looked at this one, and it seems good. Netgear is also a good brand. Any opinons?

PS - If you are going to offer an alternative, it MUST be an ADSL piece of kit and it MUST have a modem built in. (Modem/Router)

    Thankyouplease.

weve got a netgear router, and belkin wireless cards, cos the net gear cards were crap!

if there is a cheap belkin modem/router, id go with that. They seem pretty good, and we probably over-spent on our router.

We've got a sitecom router and its complete and utter sh*te. Avoid at all costs. Not one week goes by without it needing restating/resetting/kicking.

It would be a Wired router that I will be buying.

Belkin don't have a similar product in that price range, the nearest one to it is the £79.99 wireless router, and theres no point in me paying for that if I am not going to use it.

Also needs a built in switch, which I forgot to mention.

Remi - Never heard of Sitecom.....I would always avoid straying away from unknown brands just because they are cheap :)

Thing is linksys don't seem to do a piece of kit that gives what i want, otherwise I would say Linksys tbh.

Altho, both Linksys and Netgear are owned by Cisco, so that's a good start!
