Which Laptop? Fancy a Laptop at the end of the month, will be used only for downloading 'alot' of music, burning cd's then in the near future installing Cubase. Wont be used for games, Microsoft Office or anything. Needs to have wireless internet built in aswell. Can't be arsed with a dongle or owt haha. Haven't got a clue with all this computer lark, can anyone point me in the right direction please! Muchos
dunno mate, Curry's have normally got a top set in the shop. the store in shields has some canny managers markdowns on loads of mint lappy's. whats your budget? or is it the trademark carsonite financial package deal 2008?
Tesco normall have some good budget ones. http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.202-4485.aspx is 500 and got 3 years free warranty too
You could defo do all of the stuff in your first post. wouldn't be much of a gaming laptop but if you won't use it for that, would do everything else
thats it tho, everything looks good but when it comes to rams nds gigahertz nd all that shite am lost hahaha
The higher the ram and ghz the better, simple as that lol, you want a dual core processor and atleast 1gb of ram to do basic things these days
I personally would go for this http://www.it247.com/Product/28-GB8...rodid=28-GB835ET&utm_medium=Notebooks/Laptops You get £100 cash back and can use quidco to get 2% (I think) back.
http://www.ebuyer.com/product/133387/show_product_reviews looks decent for that price and its got good reviews
Laptop Im using a Dell inspiron 6400 and so far ive been well impressed. I Dont know alot about computers myself but what i do know is that it runs on a 1.8ghz 'Intel pentium duel core presosser' which seem to do the trick. 'Duel core' is something to look out for. It has wireless internet aaand 2gb of ram which comes i handy when using multiple applictions. Im have have Ableton and Cubase running at the same time and goes everything smoothly. IT also has a generous 15.4inch screen too. I got mine last xmas for £547. definitly worth a look. Good luck!
