Is there any bars in Newcastle that play house music (as opposed to pop or indie)? Trying to plan a night out and what to hit some bars that play house
There are some around. What you find is it sometimes depends on the night you go. I've seen it in: Tokyo Revolution The Vineyard I would suspect it could be on at Popolos. I've not been out for ages now so that might have changed but most of these ones I'm talking about are on a Saturday.
Destination and North Bar (both near Central Station). There's also LOOP at theCUT if you're after somewhere to end up. Also worth checking the Forth on a weekend as the Last Waltz lads play in there from time to time. Collingwood Street tends to be pop or "progressive house" (not in the Sasha style )
