I've been advised that they'd be better off being the fake kind since the time/date for the occasion isn't set but could be quite spontaneous so the real deal may end up looking like a load of sliced tomato's if they were bought too early. I guess the fake ones could be bought as a backup in any case.. That said, what are the options in Newcastle? Not being a romantic man, I don't ever recall seeing fake rose petals sold anywhere but I'm guessing there must be some romantic people that shops like to cater for?
Haha I just thought maybe someone would know. I forgot to mention that I needed them in bulk. It's a "coming home" thing that's going on and for some reason I was given the job of petals and balloons. Miserable.
I saw this and thought, christ - fake petals, then thought nothing more of it, then..... was out buying generic decoration shite for a party yesterday and found that poundland sold fake rose petals, thats right, for a pound. problem solved. also - if you work in a pub and know the BOC gas guy, he'll give you helium instead of CO2. he refused me the chance of nabbing NO2 unfortunately
