Where have all my favourites gone?

I switched my computer on this morning, opened IE7 and all my favourites have disappeared (and to say I had a canny few is an understatement). They were there last night, I've had IE7 for a while now and I've not done anything to my computer at all recently so I dunno what could have caused this.

Any ideas? Are they lost forever?

if you go to C:\Documents and Settings\Lee\Favorites are they there?

(assuming your logon name is Lee that is!)

I'm compiling a new list now using my history and stuff. Half of my old list I didn't use anyway.

Its just strange.

my firefox ones dissapear all the time, it's really starting to fuck me off now.. I log in as the same user, everything..

is there anyway of backing them up before it happens again?

Thats what you get for using IE. probs a bit of spyware thing knocked them off, most nasties are designed to attack IE as more people use it, but it is less secure.

Switch to Mozilla

i've never lost my faves like and i've always used IE

Well everything is always IE's fault!

I would but I really don't like Firefox, half the sites I go on don't work when I use it.

try changing the porn sites you use?
