When u met a board member for the first time were they as you expected them to be?

Cos when i met Amyblah for first time at Jules the look on her face when i opened my mouth dont think she was expecting the southern accent

Nope. Only on a couple of occassions. I think it's because you build up a mental picture when u speak to them on the board and that doesn't give u the whole picture of what they are like. I'll admit and am pleased to say that everyone of those people were nicer than expected.

To be honest Ken I didn't really expect the Southern accent when I first met ya. Same with Dexta and the Scottish one. I suppose that when I'd seen your location on the board I'd assumed you were from up here, but down there for Uni or something.
I've met far too many people off the Promise board to list, but ones that come to mind most are...
Kerry - Along with Batfink, the only person I knew before I went to Promise, a little blonder than I'd imagined her before I met her, but still very sweet.
Orbit - Still full of surprises. When I first met this dude he was dressed in a suit and I thought he seemed very conservative and sensible. How wrong was I?!
MadChris - Probably the opposite of Orbit!
Clarki - Didn't think he was as much of a charver as he is!
Damocles - Seemed like a bit of a cunt from msn convos/posts on here (sorry Dunc), but actually quite a cool dude.
Amyblah - Nicer than she seemed on msn. Although when I first saw her (never spoke to her this night, she just recognised me), she was just staring at me. I initially thought she was a bit of a psycho :spangled:

When I first came on the board it was after the first time i'd went clubbing at Godskitchen. I never came on that much afterwards, but I remembered getting welcomed by people like Karl51, Orbit, Rozz and Glitter who I already knew, Wet and hard and DjSequoia.

They all seemed like cool, calm reseved people, yet when I met them they were complete dicks

I have only met a few peeps from here at promise but everyone has been sound. Most people know me from promise but don't know that I am jimE. I'm shy and quiet!!!!!!

met glitter angel ages ago before i came on the board but didnt relise it was her til xmas party!!
orbit - quality kid, gets to wreked some times specially on kellogs!
broony and mad chris totally mint kids, known them for bout 3 months and there goin on hols this year with me!
nat - sound kid met him before tall trees but didnt find out his name til then
liljem - met her at ST dj comp with steve and there both really mint people!!
joes sound aswell, only spoke a few times but got a good impression !

fitzy, karl51,damocles and the boro crew, young johntystar,fizz, che, hummel,geordie,spud 693,probs loads more if i forgot u im sorry!!
all those people above r really some of the most down to earth people ive met!(when their on the planet ) part from hummel hes just a twat!!

Its never happened with anyone on this board but it did happen with a lad from the GG board, he was well puzzled when i asked him why aint you a lass.

Maybe he was on weekends.

Mr Fish, i was well scared for meeting him, then when i walked over to him n asked if he was technofish, he was dead nice, he said im dead sweet!!

I used to get that a lot on msn before I'd met many people off the board. Fitzy was one that sticks in my head, think Fizz did it too :spangled:

I love the spence (not in a gay way) - I think we should start a 'THE SPENCE' fan club with newsletters and stuff every week with a free THE SPENCE sweat band (please don't kill me!) and a quality picture of the spence from his latest outing.

The spence is class. Promise wouldn't be the same without him.

Ps all that was Orbit's idea.

drhh intro'd me to ness @ solid ageeees ago when lee haslam was on with the stimulants.. to be honest he scared the shit outta me.

I had an argument with Pike about pasties on GC board ages ago - i think it was after Red n Black that i met him for the first time coz i looked after Sally on the way home !

As for other people on here it just happens - i dont think there is anyone that ive been when ive met !
