When people say 'Trance and Hard Dance'

When they say Hard Dance do they mean hard trance? Or is it not a general name for hard (trance/House/techno) music?

It doesn't make sense does it. It's like a category with loads of sub categories, to me anyway.

i.e. Hard House, Hard Trance, techno, hardcore and of course Korn ;)

I class hard dance as stuff like Nukleuz, Frantic, Impact, stuff like Phil Reynolds, Andy Farley, James Lawson, Steve Blake normally on the whole very distinct sharp, stabbing bass beats, and a treble/mid which is lot higher frequency than that of "hard trance" harsh hard trance to some extent... This style of music is only really produced in the UK, Australia, South Africa and a bit in the States, not the rest of Europe, where a lot of "trance" and "hard Trance" comes from

    :chill: :D

*edit* i was a bit :chill:ed when i wrote this, does it make sense?
