Whats the crack with DVD burning?! Got a DVD writer and im trying to burn a DVD to disc and play off the PS2. I downloaded HT fireman0.4 and used that to burn onto disk but it wont work on PS2. Ive had copies on the PS2 so just wondered how to succesfully burn onto disk and play off it. It plays off the PC no bother (From the disk) Is there anything im doin wrong?
Are you creating an image first? Best way I know seen for PS2 is using Alcohol- there's a guide here: http://support.alcohol-soft.com/en/knowledgebase.php?postid=6773&title=PS2++(DVD) And just burn at 1x speed
i burn PS2 games at any speed and get no problems. Sometimes the brand of disk can be a factor. alcohol 120% or DVDDecryptor seem to be the best applications. The only titles i've ever downloaded personally never worked once i burned them to CDR.... what burning software u using? is the images you've downloaded a CDR image or a DVD image? the clue will be in the title of the file, it'll say DVDRIP or CDRIP. Also - if it's a PS2 game - how does it work on a PC?
i thought fireman was a game he'd downloaded or somat... i dunno... 'play off it' and PS2 too all added up in my head and i automatically assumed games - that is the PS2's primary function, isn't it? i'll take my advice elsewhere then......
