    whats the best...........

    CD portable player thingy to take to festivals.

    i want a one with decent power which will last longer then two mins on batterys.

    I dunno if you really need the cd option, but if not then an ipod shuffle has good battery life. I hardly ever charge mine and it gets a hammering. Only bad thing is it has no screen so you kinda need to know which order your tunes are in if you're fussy like that. I've got mainly sets on mine so it's easy to identify stuff straight away.

    You'll also need some portable speakers :dunce:

    sorry i should have made my request a little clearer.

    i want a 'tune box' for those hours in the campsite before the festival and after. not a personal player like an ipod or something

    these days I think it's probably more practical to get an ipod type of player then just get some portable speakers to go with it. Saves a load of space and there's a massive range of speakers you can get nowadays. Infact just get some decent speakers that can take batteries and tell everyone to bring their phones/mp3 players/cd players cos most will connect to them.
