    What's the best/easiest sofeware for...

...getting the tempo of a track and then changing it to a predefined tempo?

gotta be able to save it as a new file with the new tempo too...?

    Thanks! :)

There's loads of tempo software on the internet for free, just google. Use Wavelab to adjust the tempo. Then just get the tempo of track using software, then put track into Wavelab, use tempo adjust feature and just type in what the tempo of the track is in the box on the left, type in what you want the tempo to be on the box on the right and click ok and done.

you can do it all in Ableton

but you would also need to learn how to warp tracks (not that hard but might put some people off)

Type in 'Ableton Warping Guide' in google and you'll find a few there, no probs.
