ikon is a bit of a shithole to be honest, but id still go, the Soundsystem is hellish.

Anyone remember promise vs Goodgrief that was in Ikon last years bank holiday? What a night that was! I agree the sound system there is preyty shite, coz i remember some of the speakers fucking up at one point! Anyway the club itself produced an amazing atmosphere last night but it could be a struggle to produce that kind of crowd on a regular basis.

I know somewhere to go this saturday lol but your right promise was the only regular trance night

Ikon is massive though, over twice the capacity of Foundation isnt it?

Would be good like but I doubt ikon would stop their regular charver night/stop charvers getting in if Promise was there because thats like 90% of their audience at weekends.

I'd go to see what it was like and make my judgement then... i don't think the clientelle would change much and i reckon that might put me off it abit...

on a friday ikon makes the most money in newcastle out of all the clubs on a saturday it comes 2nd only behind tiger tiger. so i cannot see it changin any of it's nite. it is absolutly jam packed every nite i hav been there .
