What tune do you associate Promise with at the moment.

What track/tune do you associate with when you think of promise right now - the one you imagine hearing when you think back to the weekend or something.

Right now - It has to be:

"Holding onto Nothing" - Agnelli And Nelson feat Vega (think its vega - not sure im at work)

Hardwick dropped it on friday and its just an instant classic in my eyes... takes over from "Serenity"

Come on - which tune sums up Promise right now :D

Now that its monthly, i dont really associate any particular tune with Promise, that i can think of.

Previously when it was weekly, i guess it just got a tune in to your hear more and made you think of Promise. Therefore theres been a number in the past, but cant really think of one of late.

    Late 2000 / early 2001 it was Fatboy Slim - Star 69 (X-Press 2 Mix).
Mid - late 2001 it was deffo iio - Rapture (Creamer & K Mix).

Cant really think of any since then. :spangled: But those two bring me right back to "the good old days".

personally i don't believe tunes like binary finary should be touched, they should be left as they were, true classics in original form, rather than being ruined by some turn-table :monkey:

Used to be corvin dalek - Atheist, god knows what it is now

hardwick did play the ronski mix which imo is a bit crappy, eddie haliwell played mauro picotto - lizard which does sound very similar to binary finary when played that loud as it has the same chord progressions apart from the overlaying vox kinda thing on the pad
