    What style?

What style of music floats your boat?

Depends what mood I'm in if I'm in a happy mood or about to go out - cyber trance floats my boat, bouncey cheesey and uplifting :D

If I wanna bosh tho I likes acid trance/acid techno/NRG/Hard House....

the rest of the time anything but dance music :D  :D  :D

Loadsa stuff really. I play Deep, proggy and straight-up house, which obviously I love, but I love percussive techno, and I'm starting to warm to the prog trance sound, too :D

    Hahaha! :p

Nah, I just have a very open mind, and wide tastes. Prog's nice if it builds through house to Prog trance. Sasha style prog trance though, nothing more full-on than that really. Decent prog trance is hard to find anyway. At least it is for me :(

Sasha bores me silly nowadays but I was quite into him when i was 18-19. Thing is with prog because there are certain confines as to what makes prog, prog it is limited in how it can diversify and therefore to make it new it relies to heavily on what new sounds and swooshes can be squeezed out of this years latest synth. This becomes apparent on listening to prog over many years, it just doesn't evolve it's formulaic, tired and it just feels like programming by numbers to best achieve 'a hands in the air type euphoric experience' in it's target audience.

Next weeks installment will feature a section on why I don't like 'tribal' house.

lol. I don't like prog that's too chuggy, that's why I prefer to class myself as a straight-up House DJ. Variation in a set between Prog House, House and Prog Tracne can be nice tho. :p

At the min it's more floaty trance stuff. Although when I'm out - usually like the night to end on the harder side of things! At the min have more harder trance then 'Hardwick style' trance so busy building me records up...
