    trance and hard trance.

    tulip first hour.
    then a trance DJ.
    Then a harder DJ.

the night with richard - lee foster - lee haslem being a perfect example IMO.

    sweet.

exactly what I was gonna say… like trance, like hard dance, so a mixture of the two, my example.. Tulip, Hardwick then Phil Reynolds or K90:D

but then i love pure trance nights eg PVD... if he was playing i d want him to play to the end.

I like my trance, hard trance and hard house. But like Joe said, I like variety too so I'm not fussy. If I had to choose, I'd like more harder stuff.

agreed ... I've wanted hard house at promise since forever and when the odd dj comes along:

    lee haslam
    eddie halliwell
    rob tissera
    anne savage
    kerry james

it sounds so much better - but a weekly hard house night in newcastle just wont work - there isn't the market.... occasional hard house nights (like mark originally planned) are a far better idea :D

They said that about Preston but Toast seems to be growing around the north west region. That's only fortnightly tho. When It started I cudn't imagine hard house in Preston either.

theres been several weekly hard house nights in newcastle and they've all flopped.

Hard House works in newcastle but not week in week out... ffs birmingham's sshq has huge trouble pulling a weekly crowd and that has the biggest hard house catchment area in the UK.... Hard House will work in newcastle - but as a weekly music policy its a quick fix that will quickly expire.

    Keep it irregular :D

I'd be happy with a couple of Progressive nights being put on in the future. I know its not everyones taste, but its the same with everything. I'm sure there'd be a good turn-out for someone like Tyrant or Anthony Pappa after them being away for so long. I know some of them nights seemed empty but I've lost count about how many people I've spoke to about "the good old days".
