Difficult choice! Will you be able to put aside the money so it can be used for Promise for a year though? Or will you just go a few times and piss away the rest of the money on nothing significant over the next month or two (because that's what I would end up doing)?

I dont have a clue about what to buy.......what would be a good set of budget decks.

Don't blaspheme! The ONLY decks are 1210s. Might as well buy these to start with, rather than buy cheap ones and just have to upgrade later.

er....just some direct drives ones id say.....and get an ok mixer...and youll be fine...

im dont know that much about different types of decks!!

I really shud be trying to save for a hol nxt year with it bein my last yr at uni.........decks, holidays its all just pie in the sky at the moment........the only things thats real is Promise :groovy:

ive got a few ideas what you should buy.....i seen this really nice pair of jeans in maverick the other day, they'd look lovely on me, and theres this coat i really like too, you could buy them for a starter, if u need any more info im free most days and would be happy to go shopping with you so we could buy more nice stuff for me i hope this helps

fela!!! get budget decks if u just startin out, u may well soon outgrow them, but its a good cheap strt, then u an afford promise also for half the year at leats!

them decks that play records and dont break with one of them things in the middle with all the buttons and knobs on, that should see ya!
