    what phone should i get?

I'm totally clued up now between the sharp 903

    and the nokia n90

The 903 boasts an uber camera at 3.2 megapixel, and i think looks a lot slicker, and you can spin the screen round so you can use it like a real digital camera.

The nokia has a better screen resolution but i can't tell the difference because they are both high, and the nokia screen is a lot smaller which is shit even though the phone is a lot bigger in size than the sharp.

I'm not bothered about the software because i like the sharp software as well as the nokias, except on the nokia i hate the fact you can't take photos on full screen, only in a window.

The nokia however does have a better flash and better night mode for taking pictures in the dark.

Thats what i gather so far from trying the two phones out, but i just can't decide which one to get.

At first i was swayed but the nokia but my flatmate has just got one and i'm not overly impressed with it, and its a bit plasticy, but the back of the 903 looks a bit poo and there isn't a screen on the back at all.

    Forget the megapixels.

The Zeiss lens on the nokia will give you better pics

Does the nokias not as well?

Perhaps some samples are called for, low light without flash picture quality will really show you a good lens and sensor in action

are you really that bothered how good a phone is???

Do you really use all the features those phones have?

I have worked for a phone network long enough to know that the more stuff there is on it, the worse they generally are

Im in 2 minds about getting a contract phone now.. paying £200 for a pAYG just doesnt seem logical when i can pay about £20 per month and get a free phone. I just need to find a decent minutes bundle cos 1000 texts isnt any use to me or anyone else :p

the good thing about contract is you get a mint phone for free, you pay it off over the year in small instalments ie line rental, then you sell the phone a year later on ebay and get most of your money back for the line rental, and therefore, you've really just got a pay as you go phone, without paying for the phone.

    I've got the N90.

They are very cool phones but have some serious shortfalls such as no vibra-alert.

The camera is very impressive, you have detailed control over lots of settings and with a bit of messing you can get some great results.

    I want an N92.

Sony-Ericcson are bringing out cameras with 'cybershot' technology in them too. The range of W*** ones are looking snazzy as fewk too.
