I voted for the first option cos variety is the spice of life....but now and then a longer set dedicated to one Dj is good....like this Saturday for example!!! 4 hours from Digweed should be well good :):):):)

I suppose it depends on the length of the night for me..

Its great to get to see a few great jocks in the same night, but its also good to see a long set off one....

If it was an allnighter, i'd prefer a few DJ's though.

Nights like promise and shindig....one great DJ does me fine.

    I prefer LONG SETS.

A DJ does not get a chance to express himself with 2 hours. I mean whats 2 hours? 12 records?

Gatecrasher SOLO failed because Gatecrasher is clubbing in the fast lane. People couldnt cope with a set being built up. They just want BANG down there!

4 Hours is spot on Id say.

    No need to say who....

I like the idea of 2 dj's playing after Richard tulip. Maybe a long set from a good dj once per month or so!!!!;)

Where as other DJ's get borring after 4hrs.

Back 2 Back's are deffo great crowd pleasers though.

    Depends who's playing.

Long sets for the likes of Picotto, Tenaglia, Sasha, Digweed, Liebing and DJ rush.

Shorter sets for the likes of Tiesto, ABV, Nunez and The Trophy Twins.

Shouldn't play at all for the likes of all HH DJ's.

crasher solo failed cos they gave the 4 hour sets to the likes of scot project and dumonde!

i think when it comes to long sets only some DJ's can pull it off...hardwick bein one of them

If its just one dj then Rich gets a longer set. And then so does the main dj. So i think the second option for me.

    i prefer 2 good DJ's, or a long set. ie. 4/5 hrs

only put decent djs on long sets tho! cos crap ones would mess it up!

big fan of sets about 3 hrs long... preferably with some sorta structure too, ie starting softer building up as the night goes on. Went to Convergence at Fridge in Brixton, and Lab 4 played before K90 and Steve Blake. Personally i would have preferred Lab 4 to play last or at least near the end. Also acts like K90 and Lab 4 only ever seem to play a 60 - 90 min set... make it longer:D

I think 3hrs is a good set for any decent DJ. Enough for the DJ make their mark and enough to leave you wanting more. It's the best way! :D

I spend little time in the always room too - just seem to drift round the club.

Never been a big trance head, always loved promise for the atmosphere, the people n the harder stuff. The odd trance dj tickles my taste buds (hardwick and the likes)... Nowadays though i just like fun/energetic music be it soulwax, gielen or tissera try not to rectrict myslef to genres now :D

For the record though the hed kandi sound is a little too fun for me though :p
