This aint another promise messageboard gang thing, cos thats basic now - theres only 2 gangs here now - gimps and ungimps.

This is about your school days, what gang did you roll with at school, how did you dress, etc.

I was half charva, half toff - I dressed in a mixture of burberry, adidas, eclipse and fosters... I was a right mouthy little shite, who never got battered on account of his huge friends

i was in my own gang....with a few others....
dressed cool.
got into fights with the school hard men/bullies, cos they annoyed me alot, and i used to have a temper.

i was in with the sporty lot, i represented my school and county for several sports.

i used to dress like i played alot of sport also. tracksuits bottoms, footy tops.

From about 14 I was going to weekly unders event getting totally mashed. The mates I went with were also all the hard nuts from the pretty mental areas and half of them are all on smack now or doing time. They were all good blokes, just misguided and had less opportunities.

Clothes - I remember wearing a ludicrous LA Raiders jacket, travel fox trainers (which I cherished), hooded tops and a collection of stolen/fake shirts/t-shirts all bought from the local nutters.

computer geek from around 11 to 14yrs old. Beaten up constantly, all school belongings chucked out of the science block 5th storey window and never picked for 5-a-side. At 14/15, discovered special brew and thunderbirds (the wine), shaved my head then fucked up this lad with a stool from the art block. Still got my bent/broken nose to this day. Got suspended for 1 week. I guess then i was a leeds charver cause no one would say owt from then onwards. Smoked in the tennis courts at breaktime.

i was like a homeboy charv with a touch of class (compared to the other charvs)

none of this illuminous shite no fuckin way. no rockports no berghuas etc.

i knew everyone tho and cos i was a smoker :chill: i was in with all the hard radgey cunts

I had my base of pals who lived near me & went to the same school as me,but once @ school I knew everyone so I was with all the groups.

I was a geek until year 9 when a fight with one of the Rugby team turned me into a bit of a legend...the power went to my head and I became a charva...red hair, blonde fringe, berghaus and illuminous tracksuit the works....i lead our gang tho....

pretty normal really, played for school footy team every year, had good mates
though not quite in the 'in' gang, who shared all the nice girls between them. though got on with them cos of footy

had an eclipse jeans phase, with the ellesse shoes that were just a copy of kickers
and wore kappa for a bit as well, til i realised it was a bit poo. and some fosters stuff as well- remember Urban Street Wear?

never got bullied either, probs cos i was one of the taller lads at school. had one or two scraps though
all in all, school was ok, had plenty of mates, though not much success with the ladies

discovered booze about year 9, seemed so magical

same here as most of them played in all the same school teams as me.

and i smoked so was uber cool.

plus was my mates who were dj-ing & mc-ing at our local underage rave events.

There was me and four others in our main group, although I moved freely between other groups. We had it made at school. No one give us any jip and all the lasses fancied me

Dress code was super smart - dress pants and shirt - no poxy school blazer - smart tie - again not the crappy school one. Would not also wear the school P.E. kit after the second year - it was rank!

Charmed the pants off all the teachers as well they were lovin it.

In middle school i was a bit of a chava, used to dress in traksuit bottoms-but everyone in the year dressed like that. Then when i went to hight school i changed a lot, hung around with new people, dressed in jeans all the time and a lot more popular. A few of us started going out drinking in the pubs when we were 14 then went to the 'palace' all the time too.

And i used to be really sporty, being on the netball team and used to do cross country running too, and i was always one of the first picked for sports

was a sweet an innocent ickle geek until i changed schools in year 7. my new school was supposed to be better, and it was posher.

it was there that i was introduced to alcohol an drugs...

those fri/sat nites getting fukked were some of the best times...

it was a pretty small school so i was in the main group, an stayed in the same group when we went up to the grammar school...

where i was introduced to even more drugs an alcohol


and to think my parents thought i'd be getting a better education!

i went to a "good" school.. just wore uniform and knocked about with about 6/7lads all the time... we didnt take shit from no one.

i wasn't in a gang, just made sure i didn't hang around with the tossers or the horror heads (lasses who troweled orange make up on!) & if i got any shit i used to bat them! (whether they were lads or lasses)

i was in with the skaters and co up un till 4th yr then i snapped my ankle and couldnt do much skating anymore so i started hanging with the smokers and radgys wish i never did looking back we were right cunts to some people

Wasnt in any gangs at school. Didnt cause any greif, didnt get picked on either, apart from remarks about my skin cos I had eczema. Stayed away from the dodgy people in my year and got on with a lot of the rest. Wasnt a charva, wore Doc Martens quite a lot cos it was the in thing at that time. Was in the top classes for all my subjects and was a keen musician (something which I deeply regret having given up when I started college)

My time at school was canny boring really, used to get stoned and pissed quite often but dont have any great stories to tell
