    i think it was the 2nd birthday

    was really surprised to see so many cybers,

    you don't get them in clubs in ireland, it was a bit of a culture shock. was even more impressed when cream was played near the end.

    it was trancy Mc trance back then tho.

    I enjoyed it.
    I thought and still do love the atmosphere, music and the crowd that get in to Promise.
    Its like a home from home

    all i can remember of my 1st trip to Promise was thinking too myself its to LOUD i wanna go home:(

    First time was scott bond oct 2001 I think had an amazing night, but my friends went home early and I met some randoms in the taxi queue n they told me to come back to their house, but went we got there they were like 'do you mind sharing needles?!' or something like that!! and i was really pissed so I believed them so was quite worried before I realised they were joking:dunce: :dunce:

    I went to Foundation the first week it opened after its Riverside days, the Friday night was run by Nice it was Fatboy slim style Big Beat. So I didnt even think of Promise.

    thought it was fuckin mint!!! became an addict not long after that! been tryin to beat the habbit but i cant stay away!!

    im sure mark puts an addictive drug in the water that makes you crave for it fortnightly!!! :D

    oh and i thought it was not bad, not a fan of foundation on a whole though.

    the promise crowd was what struck a chord for me, was like a club in a timewarp compared to the rest of clubland. which wasn't a bad thing!

    first time i went was when jules & Hardwick played a while back!!!, i can remember jules playing a canny set and then matt coming on after him, and dropping second trip :love: , i dropped down in a heap and couldnt get up for ages!!!!!, never looked back since just gets better and better!!!! :D :D :D

    even tho a fell asleep and nearly didnt make my 1st nite (hahahha nowts changed eh?!!?)

    fortunately tho rozz woke me up with a gazillion calls and a got me arse into gear, got ready, got taxt thru and FUKKIN AD IT!!!! ;) :D :D

    that was the start of my addiction...

    was parks and wilson right back near the beginning was ok went the next week had a class night then went every week for about 2 1/2 years, unfortunatly now i can only afford to go 1 or 2 times a month cos of it

    Was a couple of weeks before the Love Weekend, 2001 I think. Was Guy Ornadel. My best mate had been once before and was going on and on about how good it was and I hate a mint time! Due to funds I didnt go very often until last summer, and once I started going regularly, I started thinking about all the great nights that I'd missed from not being able to go much! I'll never make that mistake again. Im an addict now!

    I can't remember when my first time was but what struck me more than the club and the music was the people and the atmosphere...it was amazing! It seems to have lost a bit of that which is a shame!
