From jamming a guitar around at dinner times in school to touring with an indie band in college, Wez has a hand in many musical styles. His desire for dance music begun with The Prodigy in the mid nineties and influences along the way include Steve Lawler, Danny Howells, Derrick Carter, James Zabiela and not to mention Scotty B with Shindig. His Style is predominantly house music filled with deep groove bass lines and quirkey tech induced rhythms. Equipment wise Wez prefers to use Technics 1210's, Pioneer CDJ's, Vestax mixers and the Pioneer EFX 500 effects panel. With this equipment he fuses deep groove sound with an upbeat tech pace creating a funk'd big sound set. Wez always tries to cater for each venue he plays whether it be a bar or club and has a strong range of music from across the World. Based in North Shields his experience has been gained from internet radio and the set up of The Sound Sessions. The Sound Sessions is a North East Club Night which began in Whitley Bay with DJ partner Paul Tyson. Wez and Paul set up House music nights around the area with themselves as residents plus various guest's. Guests included are Lisa Myrnes, Iain Burnes, Si Quick, James Auton, Ash Seabourne and Frank Frick. The Sound Session Lads are also know as SoundLabz Ltd and run a music studio called The Gasworks, which is in North Shields. This is home to all of the musicians in the surrounding area including bands, singers, DJ's and producers. From the studio Wez hopes to complete his first releases 2006.
