    Westies (dog people)

    Right I know how much I love cats but my mum is thinking about getting a westie...she always chops n changes her mind about getting a puppy but she really seems to want a westie...does anybody know how much these dogs roughly are or how they get on with cats?

    me mate has one an its canny like,, got its balls chopped off like so its a mammys dog little poof, but once u slap him about an get his back up hes canny enuff

    they look cute when there young like jess, but when westies grow up there hair goes all scratty, and they look like a tramp dog, unless oyu spend about a million hours a day, combing and cleaning it.

    he's a lovely dog :love:

    i reckon dogs only go for cats when their owner trains them to be vicious towards them

    my dog runs away from them :lol: and hates the postman :p

    My girlfriend's got one...

    He's loads of fun, he's also extremely defensive of her - whenever we playfight or argue he always takes her side... git :lol:

    There's more info about them (including prices and important stuff) here . From what I've heard it's approx £300 for a pup.

    if a dog ever touched my cat Im not joking I would seriously kick it in the face and break its jaw...I don't beleive in animal cruelty but it annoys me so much when people let their dogs roam free and they run in my path to get my bloody cats! people should keept their dogs under control...my friends cat was blind and it used to just go in the front garden and recently a dog went and killed it in its own path absoloutly horrible!

    My dad wants an airedale so they are both arguing over it! :lol: We never got a dog last time my mum wanted one and I got my hopes up :(
