I was, started when i was still at school/6th form down here in London, it was the trance music that came way before the clubbing, just got into it, by way of a mate, and then started buying vinyl. First proper night out clubbing was probably Bedrock @ Heaven, with Sasha n Digweed. Then went away to Magalouf, and went to BCMs for Jules, Kelly and Des Mitchell. After that moved up to Newcastle, and went to Ikon on Mondays where they still played some ok if cheesey trance... Dont Be Afraid-Moonman, Everyday-Agnelli & Nelson, that sorta stuff, that went quickly down hill, with in a month, and then didnt really get into clubbing again for ages.

I was into clubbing b4 promise, the good ol days of the RIVERSIDE and Shindig! I was going to the sugashack for the last 2 years and just went to promise now n again if there was no1 on at sugarshack. Then fell out with all my old mates and stopped going to sugarshack, then met all my new mates at Shindig one night and it sort of developed from there. Still go to sugarshack now n again if any1 good is on and go to the trees more now than i ever have!

NEED MORE UNDERGROUND EVENTS AND FREE PARTIES!;)

i started clubbin when i was 16 - used to go to the Gallery and the Warehouse in leeds in the early days, also the big parties like Kaos and Soak at the uni's... Sasha, Grooverider, Steve Luigi... ok, it wasn't what we call trance nowadays, but thats what it evolved into. Definately clubbin b4 Promise!

opps. should have said, that was 1991/92. makes me a right old man...

I got into trance in 1998 when it was just getting into it's best years - before that I'd been into hardcore for a few years and the scene there had died a death to me. Trance was bangin, but had rhythm and feeling to it, so i took it up with no trouble.. Chicane - Offshore still gives me goosebumps

First proper trance clubbing experience was in Magaluf, Majorca - BCM in 1999.. what a 2 weeks that was, absolutely amazing - had me hooked on finding clubbing experiences after that - i found them all over the country.. Creamfields 2000, InsideOut - Glasgow, SugarShack - Middlesbro, The Gallery - London, Serious@The Cross - London. I was a religious follower of InsideOut for a while until it was costing too much - and gave it all a break.

Promise brought me back into the scene with a bang last year! It was great to have such quality music on your doorstep for a change instead of trailing all over the UK to get what you want :) This friday i'll be back doing what i do best.. clubbing! :D
