haha if we did it at boro we'd fill the stadium... only problem would be getting the paedo's out after... and that would empty the stadium again

We havent got the space to do it unfortunately.

Even with the worst side since Maric and Marcelinho were about.

If Newcastle fans had put up with half the stuff that Sunderland fans had over the last ten years or so you to would have a fair few empty seats. i honestly dont understand ur points here do u seriously think if Newcastle were in the same situation as Sunderland your ground would be full ??? fo ferks sake u cant even sell out european games, if you look at the history of your club you will see as is the same with every other club when you play a lower standard of football less people go. END OF STORY

I think you will find we have some of the best attendance's this season in the UEFA cup. Also if you look in the champions league I think will find that some of the biggest clubs dont sell out every game. I would leave European football alone if I was you a trip to Cardiff dont make you an expert ;)

What have yous had to put up with in the last 10 years like?

Newcastles support is good but that is not the debate, people are having a go at Sunderland for not selling out 48,000 tickets in the first division so i put the question to Newcastle fans do you think you would sell out 52,000 tickets if u were in our situation??? as for the last ten years or so surely i dont have to tell you what we have put up with

Countless relegations one with a record number of points for a premiership side to go down with
Beat in a F.A. cup final
beat in a play off final
beat in the semi final of a cup which if we had won wud of meant european football
Beat in a play off semi final on penalties after we were winning with 30 seconds left of the game
Relegated as the worst side in premiership history
Having to put up with a chairman who would not understand the word "ambition" if it ran up and bit him on his fat arse

Thats just off the top of my head the fact we still attract 27,000 ish in this divsion is fantastic.

That is the good thing about going to the match at the minute the 27,000 that are there are the hardcore loyal fans who would go no matter what, i dread when the 20,000 hangers on come back if we go up, the people who moan even if your 2-0 and stuff

I had a word with some prick who booed at full time of the Sporting game, I admit the match wasn't great but we got into the next round of the UEFA cup in 1st place.

Total pricks, these are the kind of people who were not around in the dark days, the kind of fan at your place who did not know you lot excisted before Keegan, like when we were doing well in the premiership and there were all the fans there who had probablys never been to Roker Park seeing us getting thrashed off Southend with Ricky Otto up front banging them in against us season after season, iam glad they have gone and i dont want them back if we become successful again, RANT OVER

But you would have to, to have any chance of progressing any further! Would you have them back if it meant playing European football?
