Weekend Footi All 3 north east teams are playing 'BIG CLUBS' this weekend. Newcastle play Arsenal, Middlesborough play Liverpool and Sunderland play 'THE WORLDS BIGGEST CLUB' according to there fans anyway SPURS. Liverpool V Middlesborough The rumour on Moyeside is that Liverpool are brining in a right winger for this game a lad called Michael Portillo and are looking to sign Ken Livingstone for the left wing. Liverpool are 1 of the few teams that make Sunderland look like Brazil. Middlesborough are team that seem to have more strikers than the Fire Service. The Boro are the club that ended Liverpool's long unbeaten run which Liverpool have never looked like they have got over. Can the Boro get the double? Can Liverpool get revenge ? I think the Boro will win this 2-0 BIG CLUB SPURS V Sunderland Sunderlands midweek cup win was partly due to Wilkinson installing signposts which said 'THIS WAY'. Wilko has also been trying to teach the lads how long a game of football lasts. Spurs I fucking hate them!!!! Keane will piss around up front but not score, Teddy will not run because he thinks 2 yards quicker than anyone else and the rest of there over rated team will flatter to device. Apparently Dabizas says he gonna mark Bergkamp out of the game, however i very much doubt any of our defenders could do this and as for Henry, if he is simply on fire at the moment and with Pires getting back to his best a toon win is very much in doubt, best we can hope for is a draw Scoreline 1-3 have to agree with you there Spence!
Boro are not goin to score away from home. I reckon 2-0 Liverpool. They played well until they got near the goal last nite and i reckon they will bounce back against the Boro. Bit harsh about Spurs Spence. Sheringham and Keane are class acts and Sunderland wont be able to cope with those two. 2-1 Spurs. Im gonna be positive. As long as we dont lose this were still in the hunt. Shearer and especially Bellamy will be a handful and keep Arsenal occupied for large parts of the game so i doubt they will destroy us. Jenas is playing unbelievable at the moment. I think a 1-1 draw. But if Robert works hard and the defenders dont go diving in (both very big ifs) we can win it.
Interesting weekend of matchs, haven't got the highest hopes for a result. But you never know... I too said 3-1 to Arsenal, they are just too good! We'll see...
can't see boro winning away from home against liverpool. ugo and southgate are both still out and l'pool will drop owen again so they will score a couple at least. l'pool 3 boro 1 don't rate spurs as much as orbit and they do have a couple of injuries but still can't see the mackems getting anything there. spurs 1 smb's 0 fucking hell. haven't looked forward to a match this much for a while. it will be the best atmos at SJP this season by a mile. i know what everyone is saying but don't forget we have the best home record in the league this season and one of the best defensive ones at home as well. it going to take some doing, but Bellamy is due a goal against the gunners. have faith men, have faith. southgate is back, only injury we have is to ugo (not counting juninho). we will win 2-0 this i am certain of as i have 20 quid riding on it at 11-1 liverpool are still a shambles and gerrard is out, our new boy ricketts will be to hot to handle and will score on his debut. i think toon - arsenal is likely to finish 2-2 both freely scoring atm. and im backing the mackems to take a nil nil againts spurs.. spurs flatter to decieve up front and i reckon the mackems might remember how to defend against such an uncreative midfield like spurs have. right i'm off to bed, then its up early for a 3 day bender in liverpool
jammy bastard, l'pool is the best place in the world for a night out. just endless amounts of bars, pubs and clubs.. make sure you go to garlands and the g-bar, fooking brilliant mate.
haha not so easy to get to garlands though there is 20 of us going down only about 7/8 intrested in clubbing the rest are there for the footy and beer only.. however i will be trying my hardest to persuade them a trip to garlands after the game is a good idea!
if ya don't get to garlands then you have to make it to the g-bar. it really is the maddets place i have ever been to. it is a after hours club over the lane from where garlands used to be. had a fooking brilliant time a couple of years ago there after cream. a few of us went down for an everton match, we fooking won as well. one of the best weekends ever
He may have said that, but if we win, then we are 5 points behind Arsenal with a game in hand. So then we are deffo in it. If we draw its not over but i think if we lose we can kiss the title goodbye.
