    Website forwarding

Some how, when I search for a website on google, such as necc, it finds it, now when I click on it, it takes me to some random sites, including porn sites

This wouldnt be too bad but my nephew uses the pc also

Any suggestions on how to sort it please

Probably a HOSTS file hijack (this would send you to a different destination despite adding a certain web address)

    Download this:

    http://majorgeeks.com/downloadget.php?id=3155&file=1&evp=3304750663b552982a8baee6434cfc13

Run a scan but don't take any action - just copy and paste the log into here.

Also download these and run scans which will find/remove bugs:

If you are running legit windows, download windows defender:

    http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx

This will actually lock things like your hosts file and alert you to anything trying to change....which of course you can then deny.

Also if you don't have a personal firewall, download zone alarm:

    http://dl2.zonelabs.com/bin/free/1001_cnet_zdnet/zlsSetup_70_302_000_en.exe

    Come back with the results.
