Wonder if his proggy style is a Promise thing? He's played like that before when I've heard him at Promise, last time I wasn't there but Wot said the same, but when we went to see him at Tall Trees 'Good Grief' night....2 nights later...he was hard as nails.

i've only heard him at promise, but if he does play like that for promise it goes down well.

last night was mint, another storming night at promise. rich played his usual superb set, guy continued the prog for a bit then went from prog to a massive trance tune in 1 mix  no messing about with gradual change in style..... was more like right we're gonna have some killer trance now........ bang!. sweet :D

then near the end he dropped Faithless Insomnia..... jeez i nearly died........ how good is that tune? I'd heard it mentioned before by ppl, but somehow never heard it till last night. fan-fuckin-tastic

after matt's best-ever-set last week sir guy played the best set I've heard from him at promise. nice juan :D

Think certain DJ's link certain nights to a particular style, maybe Guy remembers Promise from its early progresive days....and probably links Good Grief to a harder style.

I dispise Ornadel for this! I would have gone fri night if I knew he was going to play Prog, his prog sets are wicked.

Last tow times iv seen him at Promise he's played dead cheesy big room Trance tunes after the first 30 mins of prog.

hi Sal, how's things...... was expecting to see u there friday as well for Sir Guy. fraid he was on top form :( played at least an hour of prog I think, and lovely uplifting prog it was, different from the slower dirtier prog we got from rich, and his trance was by no means cheesy :D

Was another very very good night, I wasn't too keen on the proggy start from Guy at the start of his set but everyone else seemed to be so it generated a good atmosphere! The longer Guy's set went on the better it got and by the end it was awesome....and then it stopped! :(
