don't do it Lulu. It makes your lips hurt. (ebay have chineses ones which are dirt cheap) (but I don't know if they are any good) and cheap ones are really hard to play. my first one was cheap and I struggled with it for ages then I got my Yamaha and found it 10 times easier to play. You can hire them from Windows for 3 months to see if you like it before you decide to buy. And there are a lot of shit second hand ones knocking about that look alright but don't play so well. Getting them serviced costs £50 - £100 which makes them not so cheap. but they are great instruments to play IMO :chill:
cheers for the advice, i used to play the clarinet so i am aware of the pain and tingling....lol not sure i'll be any good at teaching myself so i might have to pay for a few lessons
