I'd of said the same thing till the new GTA came out- ended buying a PS2 just for this game. If your mate's not bothered about GTA though, the XBox is loads better

I read an interview with rockstar said it's scheduled for release on PC in May next year and no Xbox release planned- because it's an exclusive they def can't realease it on any other platform for 6 months.

Since Xbox 2 is suppsed to be finished in Jan and so release around August, I didn't really fancy waiting that long!

Sayign that, it's worth getting an Xbox for Halo / Halo 2 alone

and PGR 2 and fable and getting splinter cell 3 early and xbox live

He's already got an XBox!

Fair point- PGR 2 is class, as are both the splinter cell games so far so the 3rd will be excellent.
Not played fable yet but looks class.
Unfortunately I'm banned from XBox live cos I forgot to switch off my x2 before I went on. boo!
